    Spicy tomato and lentil. Chop up an onion and fry off with some olive oil and add in one heaped teaspoon of ground coriander and one teaspoon of ground cumin. Fry off spices for about 45 seconds. Add in one cup of red lentils, 2 tins of chopped tomatoes and 4 cups of stock (I use veggie but you can use whatever). Either throw in the slow cooker for a few hours or low simmer on the stove until it thickens up. I serve it with toasted Turkish bread and a dollop of sour cream in the soup

    Thanks for sharing - sounds yummy enough for me to consider actually cooking (instead of getting DH to do!).
