Hi, I'm a SAHM (work part time from home) at the moment: DD is 7 and Year 2.
Life is pretty busy with a toddler and a hubby who works long hours, and some weekends.
Homework at my kid's Catholic school is very moderate- home reader, spelling words, maths work sheet and two activities per week from the grid, but with after school activities it can sometimes be a challenge.
The school has a policy of no homework on the weekends- that is family time- but it makes weeknights unnecessarily hectic IMO.
Really looking forward to DD being able to do her homework more independently, cos the toddler wants to participate too.
And yes, DD goes to bed @ 7.30 completely knackered.
