Default What did you get for Mothers Day?

My husband made me breakfast and then took me shopping to buy a pair of boots for Winter.

I got hand made cards and paintings (one was a portrait of me!) that hubby framed, also got family photos from hubby in a nice frame. Some candles from dusk (my fav scent!) and breakfast in bed and DS1 made me a cup of tea. Was meant to have a bubble bath drawn by DS2 but he forgot and it was the wrong time of the month so I didn't remind him.

I got a milo in bed, some quality time in bed with my newborn, an electric throw blanket for the couch, the hobitt movie and best of all a card with ALL my kids names in it including my step sons and our angel baby. That acknowledgement really made my day!

    Nothing.

DHs excuse was he knew I had mothers day covered for my mum and MIL but forgot to get me anything because he 'forgot that I'm a mum too'. This excuse annoyed me more then him just forgetting. OH well, at least I don't have to worry about doing anything for him for fathers day this year.
