Hi ladies, hope everyone is doing well.
I had my review with the fs yesterday and i am now on fsh injections. Clomid isn't for me it appears so i really hope this brings our much awaited bfp.
Has anyone else in here had injections?

Were you ovulating on the clomid munch?
6 DPO here, this is the worst part of the cycle. Too early to test or know, but long enough after ovulation that I'm getting twitchy! Gahhh 4 more days, 4 more days *rocks back and forth drooling* LOL

I was ovulating on clomid. It was confirmed with blood tests.
I think the main thing with the injections is that it is more controlled. Plus your body has assistance during the luteal phase to ensure the environment is perfect for implantation
I hate being the first two thirds of the tww. I hope it goes quickly for you.

So do they think you were ovulating immature eggs? given the FSH injections that mature the follies? I'm just kind of at a loss for myself if this cycle doesn't work as I'm ovulating, no doubt.
I hope the injections work for you god knows you deserve it.

I am not sure. But i couldn't do anymore clomid as it is limited how many cycles you can do.
I really hope that this works. They did mention that it could simply be the eggs aren't sticking because of my uterus and the lining not building up enough. So the injections after o are meant to help with that.
Injections are much more affordable than i thought they would be. $110 for two three months worth of the injections and then the cost of the monitoring with the clinic. Which in my case is $600, no Medicare as that is the rebated amount.

I'm on my first month of injections. I have 50iu of puregeon. We'll be doing IUI this cycle. I also O'd with clomid, but my FS said the success rate is marginally higher with injections.
