    Default Primary schools in Ipswich?

Hi all I'm looking at schools for dd who starts prep next year at the moment I'm considering St Marys, East Ipswich and Blair, has any one had any experience with any of these schools? Or if anyone can suggest any other really good schools around any help would be much appreciated

I know of East Ipswich, Silkstone, Bundamba as being great schools. I have friends and family who send kids to these schools and are all very happy with them. My kids go to Mt Crosby and Im very happy with it. I have heard from other parents who werent happy with St Marys, but St Josephs is good as is Bethany.

St Mary's is very large, and I have been told on numerous occasions (by Mum's who have sent their kids there, and by a student teacher) that it is VERY competitive and not the nicest environment.
I know you are looking into Cath ed, and I sent my daughters to a Catholic primary for a few years, but I removed them and sent them to the public school and my goodness it was the right choice. Their school was holding them back (and MANY other students) and their new school has seen them blossom both emotionally and intellectually. Dont discount a good public school. ;-)

    Default Schools in Ipswich

I have 3 children My son started at Blair it was terrible, even classroom teacher admitted they couldnt control the kids, alot of bullying.

They ended up at St Marys, & we were very happy, out dd has learning difficulties and they were great.

It is such a big decision,
    Good luck
