    The egg whites seem to be good for those raw, shiny, weepy patches. I found the zinc wouldn't stick to those patches, but the egg would.

    I found in that situation best to run a bath and place a pantihose full of porridge oats under the running water and then leave in water which instantly soothes the area. Poor wee mite.
