    Default Decorating baby's room

    Hi ladies

just after some great websites for decoarating a baby room. We found out we are having a baby girl but wont' be painting the room pink, more a neutral colour so would like to have elements of pink, be that hanging paintings etc but would like some websites that sell great wall art and room accessories.

    Love to hear your thoughts!

I've just decorated for my twin boys and did neutral room with accessories.

My first task was picking colour and theme. I went with orange and purple colours and monkey theme.

After picking these I just searched websites, baby stores, eBay and gumtree for items fitting my theme.

By keeping it neutral I can change the accessories as my boys grow and there needs change.

Best of luck. I found searching for items and decorating the nursery was great fun!

Definitely recommend ETSY. There are categories you can search through but also you can specifically search for 'pink baby wall art' etc. Its is all made by the person selling it from all across the world. So handy when you know you have plenty of time to wait for postage etc. Also a lot of it can be customised as the person making it is the one you are buying it from.

etsy.com its amazing.. and not just for art. but clothes, accessories, fashion, diy ideas, baby mobiles, gifts, jewellry, soaps.. you name it.. someone on etsy makes it! and 9/10 are very high quality, beautifully designed unique pieces.

Can you tell i love it?

    For inspiration rather than purchasing

    Projectnursery.com
    Houzz.com

I second etsy for buying things!

I bought all our bedding and decor from amazon in the us. Quarter of the price and amazing quality. Plus MASSIVE variety!

Nope.. Sadly... Not many of the sellers will ship here (in the baby section anyway thats all I've really looked at).. Which is sad i would have dropped a fair bit of cash on there if they did!

I think they have rules about selling to AUS clients or Aus gov stops them something like that.

    Love etsy too!!!

Especially if you want customised things or things made especially foryour taste and not just generic stuff, so many talented people out there..

There is a Australian version called madeit.com.au but I'm not sure that there is a big variety there its
Not as well known as etsy!
