But if you're after quick and healthy meals, maybe you could make up a nice salad wholemeal wrap the night before and stick in the fridge and just grab it for lunch? Or boil up a few eggs and just have them ready to go, maybe have them on cruskets or similar? Eggs are really filling.

Good on you, Marigold!!!
I had lunch with some girlfriends yesterday, which was good for the soul, and my friend is a gourmet cook, so the food was amazing. Still managed my 2 walks and got some household chores done.

I think my good weight losses are coming to an end. Scales don't seem to be budging this week and may even go up.
Did a lot of walking yesterday as we took dd to Australia zoo for her first birthday. Then we have her party on the weekend but I'm not worried about eating naughty food cos I can't eat most of it because I'm celiac.
Think next week I'll have to get back into the healthy mummy smoothies and shift some of this weight. I look terrible in the photos from the zoo.
Hope everyone else is doing good.

Well done marigold!
littleriv - lunch sounded like it was amazing!
LittleChimp - I think I'll be in the same boat this week, scales haven't budged and the week is nearly over. I guess 1 upside of being celiac is you have to avoid most naughty foods.
Does anyone know if protein powder is safe for breastfeeding mums? I know most say not to use if pregnant, but no mention of bf'ing.

Decemberbubba - I'm not sure about protein powder but look into the healthy mummy smoothies. They are safe for breast feeding, I'm using them ATM

Are those smoothies nice flip flop?

Well I've been down for the count the last few days with a nasty nasty cold but the one upside to that has been some weight loss. I weighed myself on Sunday and was 69kgs (I had put on weight from my week of eating bad) and I weighed in at 67.6kg this morning. So obviously not a nice way to lose weight but it means i now fit into an old pair of jeans. Am not planning on doing any exercise until at least Monday as i'm still not feeling great and don't want to push it. Hopefully though I can eat healthy until then.
Decemberbubba I believe protein powder is safe whilst breastfeeding. Atleast this is what I have been told, I have a smoothie for breakfast most mornings with protein powder in it and have had no issues.
Marigold and lifeinshadesofgrey you ladies are doing awesome go you!!
Remember ladies scales aren't everything. In the past I have lost cms from my waist and thighs and the scales haven't budged so please try not to rely on them too much.
