OK, today so far:
Breakfast - slimright shake
A quarter of a curried egg and cucumber sandwich (stole from DD's morning tea, lol)
Lunch -Thai noodle Cup a soup
Arvo snack- 3 Belvita biscuits, toasted vegemite sandwich (shared with DD again).
Cup of coffee.
Doesn't look too bad, but I've run out of my brown bread so I've had to make do with white, which isn't ideal as I alwas try to eat only rye/brown.
Dinner will be spinach and ricotta ravioli and salad. A little heavy again on the carbs, but I'll be doing a big grocery shop in a couple of days and will be making sure to stock up on lots of low carb meals. I always like to stick with brown pasta but Ive run out of everything and need to shop.
I'm happy to say I got out with the pram and managed an hour fast paced walk as well. Feels good when I get my exercise

Everyone is doing so well I haven't eaten well today. After. After a few days not eating the best I can feel it harder to get on track again. But frustrating. This weeks aim is some shakes to buy. Which are nice shakes? I've tried a few and found them a bit boring.

I've tried a few different brand diet shakes as well, Lifeinshadesofgrey, and I think tastewise, the Aldi chocolate shakes are the best. You don't have to make them up with milk either, just use water and they're still tastier and come out nice and thick and really chocolatey. Maybe you could try adding some fresh berries or banana to spice them up a bit? I've never added any fruit to them, but I don't see why not They cost $2 per sachet (1 serve) in my local Aldi, the problem is you can't buy it in a bigger tub so can end up costing more.
The best value shake I've found is the Slim Right brand (also tastes nice) for around $10 - $12 per tub (11 serves).
I know what you mean about keeping motivated after a blowout. It can certainly leave you disheartened- but just stick with it, take it one day at a time; that's what I try to do

Morning all. Did you get your wish for some chocolate, Marigold??
Daily weight for me: 63.3kg.
I have tried putting the car away and walking more. It's going okay for now. I felt good as I had a curry for lunch yesterday, and I felt full into the evening, so I had a light dinner.

I've had a very average start to the week. Food hasn't been too bad but could've been better, but I haven't exercised at all. DS has the flu and is also teething so I've spent every moment with him. He's getting better now but I woke up with the flu this morning. I weighed myself and I'm still at a loss of 1.2kgs (surprisingly) but now I'm motivated to get back into it. It's still not too late!! I've bought some brown paper lunch bags so every morning I'll try to prepare my food/snacks into them, that way when it's time to eat I don't have to think about it, I'll just grab a bag. Hopefully that'll stop me from having some bad food out of pure convenience. I'm so glad to hear that most of you are doing well and those that have had a rocky start (like me), its not too late. We can do this!

Just wondering what to make for dinner tonight. DH is a vegetarian and very fussy with food, so comng up with a yummy and healthy meal that we can all eat rather than make seperate meals like I usually do is tricky.

Marigold, I think the only word I saw was 'chocolate'. I am having trouble with the 'stop' part lol.
