I'd say she's 12 weeks + knowing public announcements, you know cos that's the "safe zone" 😑

Mightymumma, your comment made me laugh. I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling like this, it was such a media blitz last time!

I'm glad you two ladies said it and it's not just me. I just saw the news and my first thought was just great, this pregnancy is going to be all over the news for the next few months, just what I feel like seeing.

I've been rolling my eyes and wanting to punch things since our dinner guests tonight GLEEFULLY exclaimed their pregnancy news. Oh fantastic. Someone ELSE is pregnant when I'm not! Wonderful!

I'm sorry for your losses but I'm so glad it's not just me feeling like this! Just got criticised on my Kate Middleton thread for not being happy about the news. One person suggested I need help (may be true, but my black sense of humour has left people wondering this for years), and another used my ranting thread to congratulate Kate Middleton...

    Oh Sally *hugs*

Try not to worry about it. Pregnancy announcements are still a kick in the gut for me and it's been 2 months now since we lost our baby. I've had to hide friends on Facebook because I cannot cope with their news.

I get what you mean re Kate Middleton. It's not that we are wishing her any ill will, it's just the thought of royal baby watch for the next 7 or so months is nauseating and a constant reminder of our losses.

😊 I agree, it's not ill will, just 'why not me too!' Some people are just a holes 😔 sorry you got treated that way 😔 at least we're all on the same page in here and can read between the lines of what we are actually saying without saying it 😊
