Hey ladies, just checking in to see how everyone's going

So so here, I'm seeing a councillor today so hope that helps. The last 2 weeks have been hellish. Plus everyone around me is healthily pregnant & announcing the genders of their babies...(sigh)... One (family member) is going to take our baby name too. It's a hard time.
How are you doing littleduck?

Hugs Pinkblue. That sucks about the name! Did they know you wanted it? Are they close (would you still use it)?
Hope the counseling helps. It's good that you've sought it out
Trucking along here, everything seems fine.....some days I'm quite relaxed but others not so much - heaps of ladies in my dig are talking about how they can feel bub move.....I'm not sure that I have yet.
Ob appt and morph scan in 2 1/2 weeks so fx for then.

Let us know how you get on today Pinkblue - I've always wondered if I should have gone to see someone. I say if you like the name, use it anyway. We had the same thing happen to us and we just used a shortened variation instead. I found it hurt the most when people waited to tell us last that they were pregnant and chose to do so when we were amongst a stack of other people who already knew and were watching our reaction...nice.
littleduck - I think you will always be cautious during pregnancy after mc's. 17 weeks would be early to feel your first bub though possible in some circumstances, I didn't feel our first until just past 20 weeks. It also depends on where the placenta is located and position of baby.
We have a 3 week wait to see if this bub makes it through a vital stage. Had to stop the clexane early due to an internal bleed that we didn't know was there until we saw the ob. He was fairly certain it would keep bleeding if we didn't stop. Hoping that the vessels are large enough so that they don't get clotted off. I really don't want to tell anymore people until then, but it's obvious anyway.

Hi ladies, got on really well with the councillor, it was a huge help. She has suggested not seeing anyone (ie all my friends) who is pregnant or has young kids over the next month as studies have shown better outcomes. She thinks I have postnatal depression, which can happen after a miscarriage. All those crazy hormones! Crazy huh, talk about getting the raw end of the stick! No baby and PND!!!
As such, I'll be taking a bubhub vacation for a while until things have settled down for me. Well I'll try, I'm a tad addicted!
I'd recommend seeing someone if you feel the need, I'm surprised how good she was.
Good luck ladies, hoping there good news for you all when I'll touch base in a month or so xxx

Hi ladies. I have been reading posts daily but not posting much lately.
I think I come to this site for the support and comfort it provides me as I go through this horrible experience... I am going to vent something today because I feel uncomfortable about some posts I am reading ..
I thought that this site was for those trying to cope with a miscarriage?? Yet I am reading of women currently pregnant , feeling bub move, having scans, and such.. I know that life does go on.. And while deep inside I am happy that you have been able to conceive, I don't feel that those posts are appropriate in this site.. Perhaps it's better to keep a little more on topic.
Emotionally.. I speak for me ( and maybe others) I still find it hard to see pregnant women in day to day life, yet alone come to this "support " site and read of them as well.

Sorry if I've upset anyone by posting before - Pinkblue had asked how I was going so I was just responding to that by being honest.
