So, I'm up for round two. I recently took part in the Bubhub Bootcamp and managed to shed some kilos, but my weight seems to have plateaued and I need another kick start challenge to lose the final k's.
I find that I lose a lot more when in a group setting and like being accountable (keeping a food diary, reporting weightloss weekly etc) and having support by coming on here and sharing this journey with like minded people
So........ who's ready to join me? No pictures, measurements or weight disclosure needed guys (unless you want to), this will just be a support group for those who, like me, don't like to feel alone and just need to know that we'll be losing weight together.
I'm almost at my goal weight, I'd like to lose between 5 and 10 kg's to get there.
Start date: Monday 13th May (I wont ruin your mother's day )
End date: Monday 24th June (6 week duration)

Here's my basic plan of action:
I'm expecting to lose anywhere between 1 and 2kgs per week during this challenge.
My daily diet will be roughly as follows:
Breakfast- 1 or 2 boiled eggs on ryvita biscuits or corn thins or cruskets (occasionslly on wholemeal toast, but I'd rather lose the bread)
OR- cereal with light milk
Lunch will most likely stuff like vegetable soup, baked beans, salads etc
Dinner- grilled chicken/meat/fish & vegies/salad OR wholemeal pasta OR lamb & salad wraps OR stir fry etc
Very healthy, low cal and low carb meals.
My snacks will be pieces of fruit, yoghurt, raw vegies with light dip, boiled eggs (eggs are great!)
Exercise- I usually do an hour long face paced walk every day so I will continue with that. I have also bought myself a skipping rope and hinted at "someone" buying me a dumbell for mother's day
I will start a new thread closer to the start date and hopefully everyone can start posting all of their updates and stuff in there or you can start your own blog/journal, whatever you want Feel free to check in for regular chats and support etc and hopefully we'll get more people who want to join us!
What about everyone else? What are your plans?
Added: I will also have the occasional weight loss shake and I find zero sugar energy drinks (such as Mother) are a quick and easy meal replacement when needed... I call those days my "sustain" days, where I basically just have the bare minimum amount of food/drink to sustain me.. in other words, very low calorie intake days. I've done it before and it helps me move forward when my weightloss kind of slumps.

i'm in! I have atleast 5kgs of baby weight to lose and need to lose it asap as Im getting married in October and I dont want to buy my dress till ive lost the weight.
I will also be starting on Monday. I plan on walking an hour 3 days a week, riding my bike which is on a bike/wind trainer for 30 mins 3 days a week and also doing 30 mins of strength training on those days.
My general diet will be low starchy carb high protein. so breakfast will be a protein smoothie with fruit and a bit of veg in it, lunch will be an omlette or chicken/beef salad or something along those lines and dinners will be grilled meat and veg or stirfrys with a lil bit of rice etc. for snacks it will be things like veggie sticks and home made hommus or fruit or for a treat dark choc & nuts. I will be trying to limit dairy but I need my morning coffee.
I'm hoping doing this will mean i lose 1-2kgs a week.
I find to stick to any kind of diet or plan I need something to help keep me accountable so im hoping this will help and also look forward to hearing what everyone else is doing and what works for them.
