Hi Shloz my naturopath appointment went well and I am now trying castor oil packs to help clear any blockages or scar tissue I may have internally. About to go overseas for two weeks then when I come back will have my antibody levels re-checked.

ahhh ok Laurs, cool! My fertility specialist said that my antithyroid antibodies will never go down. she also said it dosent matter how high or low they are they still can effect implantation and all of that. But she has put me on predisone and im on the aspirin. She dosent want to put me on thyroxine as it could cause me to become hyper or hypo thyroidism! and I don't want that. but if I still cant get pregnant im very certain she will try it for me
I am also on an antioxidant thing called Q10 which is over the counter. It is supposed to improve egg quality

Hi, I just wanted to give you some support, my thyroid antibodies are in the 1000s, and my TSH was 9.5 when I conceived my little girl (now 15 months old). It took 1 year trying to conceive naturally (trying but not trying IYKWIM). They only diagnosed me at my 2nd antenatal appt when they did a full blood test.
i'm on thyroxine now (TSH still over 3), but am pregnant with our 2nd bub after only trying for a month. So GBH, I wish you all the best but it IS possible to fall pregnant naturally with crazy thyroid function.
Hopefully your little bub is just around the corner xx

Thanks HoneyDarling! So good to hear another good news story. I am just waiting to O and have decided that this month will be our month, we WILL get our BFP!!!
I just try to tell myself that ever month I get a BFN only means we are one month closer to receiving out BFP....

H
Y I was just wondering how things are going with you?? My ivf attempt 4 has just failed
I also found out my antithyroid antibodies has shot up to 200!!! Couldn't believe it. I have an appointment with a top notch endocrinologist in January as I had to cancel my other one because I had my egg collection that date. And to top it off I found out my brother is going to be a dad and sis in law a mum and that news has shattered me...quite depressed...

Hi Lars and everyone! I hope you all had a merry Christmas and new year! I just wanted to say hello and wondering Lars how the pregnancy trying is going?? Tomorrow I have my specialist appointment with the endocrinologist about my Antithyroid antibodies which I have found out have gone up to the 200's
so was not thrilled to hear that. I have just gone over our old posts so I can ask the questions regarding wheat free diet and thyroxine and wether I do infact have hashimotos or any sort of 'title'. Please get back to me everyone as I would love to keep in touch with everyone! if not there then on facebook or email or something!!!!! Take care everyone!!!

Thanks shloz you too! Things are good with me
turns out I didnt have antithyroid antibodies I was just being paranoid I think! One of the tests came back as zero & the other was extremely low so I was lucky I didnt have high levels at all! I am now over 8 weeks pregnant naturally so very happy! I was put on the lowest dose of thyroxine 25mcg just to keep my tsh below 2.5 as some of my tests came back that it was slightly higher at 2.8. Other than that I had no issues
I hope u and everyone else get ur bfp soon & that the endocrinologist can help u. I wish u all the best of luck!
