No big rise in my temps yet... Maybe I didn't o.
It doesn't look like you have yet becca. Maybe you geared up to o then it didn't happen? Has your spotting stopped yet? Could you have od earlier than you thought & that was implantation spotting? You have a few open circles too. I don't use ff, so sorry if I get this wrong, but do open circles mean the temp is unreliable? If so, & you exclude those temps, I'd say your o could still be up to a week away. Fx you o soon (if you haven't already).

Spotting has stopped. Opks are definitely negative now. I used opks from cd6 and can't see where I would have missed it as I haven't had 3 high temps. I have a few open circles cause of different waking time. Sometimes I wake before my alarm goes off. It wouldn't be implantion spotting cause I didn't bd before then.

Does it look any better if I discard the unreliable temps?

So I was researching Implantation dips and found a bunch of articles that think its a crock and can't be used to predict anything.

    1) FF says a dip occurs in 11% charts that do show ovulation and don't result in pregnancy. Where they occur in 23% of charts showing ovulation and pregnancy. Not an overwhelming number. http://www.fertilityfriend.com/Faqs/...dip-study.html

    2) this yahoo response talks about an estrogen surge being the culprit http://answers.yahoo.com/question/in...0083624AA9qFpe

    3) this ones pretty scathing of women who use a dip to predict pregnancy http://kindara.com/blog/fertility-ch...lantation-dip/

Do you all agree with these articles?

So I think I might just use charting to confirm I'm ovulating and to see if my Luteal phase improves (basically to see if I need to seek assistance). Ill blame this dip on estrogen.
I do think its associated with an estrogen surge...i know i got a small estrogen surge in the tww as towards the end I would sometimes get fertile looking cm.

That said, when i started taking b vitamins i no longer got a dip (from memory)...which makes sense as b vits are supposed to help progesterone levels and that would counteract the estrogen.

Elswyth, that dip yesterday looks a lot higher than your dip last month...so could mean anything.

Becca: Wait a couple of days and see if ff will give you crosshairs for yesterday or monday. If you wake up before your alarm just take your temp then and use that...for some people the time makes a big difference but for others (like me) the most important thing was taking my temp as soon as I woke up. I think ff takes the open circles into consideration when it predicts o so you probably don't need to discard those temps...though your chart does look clearer when you do!

I've never got the dip in the 2ww when I haven't been pg. But then I know my progesterone is quite high as I get the sore BB's, frequent toilet trips etc. So yes, getting the dip when not pg may well have something to do with estrogen being much higher than progesterone.

What's your theory on testing? Test XYZ days after o? Or wait until AF is due?

Looks good amended... How different were the unreliable times? When I slept in Saturday and Sundays it really screwed with the chart!

I normally test from 9 DPO. Previous cycles I just used internet cheapies, but now I'm on clomid I have to be 100% sure I'm not pg before going onto another cycle so I buy a 3 pack of FRER.

I would like to say I wait, and every single month I tell myself I won't test until I'm overdue..... it never happens I'm a complete control freak and my argument for testing early is I'd rather know I'm out and deal with it, then to have all the hormones of AF and know I'm out.
