    Default Gallbladder removal...recovery??

I had my gallbladder out last week... I have a 7.5kg 4 month old and want so desperately to pick him up....I was told I should be fine after a week...

Would love to hear from anyone else who had it done....is a week being too hopeful???? It's been 6 days since I held him but don't want to try to soon and make it even longer....

My daughter was 7 months old and I was 24 weeks pregnant with my 3rd when I had mine removed. Yes it was a little painful to pick her up but it didn't do any damage. I'd try holding your LO on the couch first and not bending over to pick bub up until you know you can do it comfortably. Hope you have a quick recovery.
