Im 3cm dilated and fully effaced they just haven't kicked me into labour yet. I have another on Saturday.

I'm hoping I go in the next few days.

Rosengold it was interesting lol... Kinda hard to do with a big belly in the way! My arms weren't nearly long enough lol

Basically get in what ever position gives you more leverage, (shower was suggested) find your cervix and give it a good stretch!

Maybe I should add that my mum never actually did them for me (would be a bit weird) but whenever I went in to meet her for lunch or had spare time (was on maternity leave from 38 weeks) she would get a colleague to do it

I had one on Wednesday at 38w and its hasn't done anything for me as yet!
With dd I had one at 39w and had her two days later!
I also think it depends who's doing it, apparently doctors are a lot rougher than the midwifes!

Lol the way it was explained to me was... It feels like your lips pursed together... I was unsuccessful while I was pregnant (damn short arms!) but have recently found it, I was checking that my mirena was still in place.

Once you find it you'll know it!
