For people who have had jeans with the elastic in the sides, did you still get a muffin top? I'm very self conscious of mine (but I also have some ovarian cysts which are causing me pain) so I wasn't sure if they would dig in at all? I also usually tend to look like I've put on weight, not pregnant till about 6 months, so I'm trying to minimise that as I have low self confidence and poor body image.
To answer this the just jeans ones also have an adjustable elastic inside at the hip (as well as the stretch panel at pocket) - kinda of like you get in kids jeans. So you can make them feel loose or firm. Even at 9 months mine never felt too tight so no chance of a muffin top :-)

I got three pair of ASOS jeans in size 12 (I'm usually a 10), and have found them to be really good quality. I've washed them heaps of times as I've worn them since about 10 weeks, and have found no loss of quality, although the black ones have faded a little.
I think I should have gone Size 10, as the 12's are a little too big, but I have pulled the adjustable elastic in all the way. They usually reccomend to buy in your curent size, as the way the clothes stretch with your growing belly accounts for the change in your shape and size.
I haven't got a luffin top from them at all, and I actually feel good about myself while wearing them as I look 'normal', just with a baby bump!

The Queen Bee online store has a great range of jeans and they generally describe the fit very well.

Well, I've ordered a pair of asos, and am headed into just jeans today. I appreciate all the input, and fingers crossed my boys behave long enough for me to try a pair on lol!

Hi there I tried maternity jeans on at jeans west and just jeans. I didnt like the jeans west they felt too low for me front and back. The just jeans ones only came in skinny and my current jeans size 12 are normal ones so felt quite self conscious. I then went to ripe maternity and OMG I found a pair that were wonderful. I think sometimes it is worth spending a bit extra if you are not the traditional skinny jean type person.
