    Hi All,

Hoping for some feedback, this afternoon after a short walk and some lunch I almost fainted...at work ... super embarrasing. I spoke to the midwife clinic who said to drink more water and that it could be low blood pressure or low blood sugar and if it happens again to go to emergency. has anyone else experienced this? It was awful and I cannot imagine that i was dehydrated as I had had about 1.5 litres of water by then. I normally have about 2.5L a day. I have had some gummi bears and a mars bar and feel better not 100% but I am just hoping that someone else can relate. Not a fan at all haha. worst part was that as I didnt want to fall off my chair so I got onto the floor - Couldnt make it to the lounges or sick bay - meaning that everyone crowded around me giving advice telling me to put my head down and getting me something to be sick into (i did feel like i might be briefly) they meant well but honestly as I work in corporate i just wanted to hide and have noone notice lol.

Tommi don't be embarrassed. I reckon there will be more embarrassing things than that come our way yet!

To me you did the most sensible thing. Lye straight down sounds right. Trying to walk somewhere is no good if you end up falling.

Can't say its happened. Butsounds like low blood sugar.

Does that mean you get an early arvo? Lol

HAHA no no, I decided to stay at work, mainly as i was too nervous to drive and then by the time i felt ok to drive I thought I should stay as I was ok..next time something happens though I am definately heading home haha. I never take the opportunity when it presents itself.

I do believe that you are right though and i need to stop worrying about these things as much more embarrassing things are heading my way...and i thought IVF had its moments lol.

I will mention it to the doctor when I have my next antenatal on the 2nd Sept. hopefully that was a once off thing.

Heading home now to be looked after by DH thanks again sunshinebell, it is so good to get feedback on here especially when feeling concerned.

New day! YAY! I have eaten my sultana bran, had a milo and now a banana and a juice as I am fearful of another fainting episode - in case it was blood sugar. So now I feel extremely full but thankfully not on the floor again haha.

1 week till my scan!!! YAY! i cannot wait, just want to know little petri is on track how is everyone else feeling today?

    Whats going on everyone? .....

Me .. I had what could have been considered an hormonal emotional breakdown today!
    Over what? .....Nothing in particular

I answered a video call from dh ....and it just happened. I just started crying. And blubbered I don't know why im so emotional.
Not long after mum rang and I cried to her over nothing too.

I put it down to hormones.
If it doubt.... blame the hormones

    All good now

    Happy Friday everyone!!!

Sunshinebell i hope that today you are feeling better and much more yourself. Those pregnancy hormones are always fun, in fact i am finding that everything in pregnancy appears to be fun fun fun...not. Thankfully the finished product will be amazing and completely worth it.

So how is everyone set for the weekend? I am off on my walk sunday, definately will be a leisurely one. Hoping that the weather warms up, It is pretty cold here up the mountain today. I also have FIL staying with us this weekend....should be....fun.... haha

    Have a great weekend!

    6 days to go!!!!

Sunshinebell - hope you feel better. Sounds like pregnancy hormones

Tommi & Gilliebean - good luck for scans this week. DH's shifts changed so our scan is now Friday and I'll be exactly 20 weeks
