Dom, - I know your probably not reading ATM, but if you are, know that we are thinking of you.
BinB, - enjoy your massage today. How are you feeling? Feeling like AF is on her way soon?
Kenta, - All the best with your test. And holding out! I can feel your anxiety. I would say, I hope the AF feeling goes away, but then maybe some symptoms are better than feeling nothing. But then people often feel nothing prior to a BFP. So it's a win, lose situation until you test. Oh, I hope it goes quickly for you.
Afm, - I'm watching DS frantically putting all his Lego in a cupboard. Why? He said they are rubbish, and he's throwing them in the bin, LOL. I just wish he would tidy up with such gusto at home. Oh, it's all coming back out!
Thismorning we walked down to southbank from spring hill, what a most lovely morning it was for a walk and some water play. Very good for the soul.
DH got into Perth last night, and on a plane on his way back ATM. I had organised a girlfriend to take care of DS for today, but she works tomorrow, so he's coming over, god bless him. Lucky we get cheep tickets.
Anyway. This morning we had a morula that was slowly changing to a blast. So we'll be transferring the loan ranger tomorrow, if you hadn't already guessed. Hopefully it'll be closer to hatching by then.
Well must go and entertain DS. Talk soon. Xxx

Great news that your Lone Ranger is hanging in there and almost a blast... That seems like good news to me MrsP.

Mrs P: Yippee!!! for the "Lone Ranger" luv!!! Am hoping to hear that it's turned into a lovely little blastocyst for you today that's on the verge of hatching by the time you get to ET. Am keeping my for you today. Here's some pre-ET to start you off
Had to LOL at your DS's lego antics!!! Espeicially when the lego started coming back out the cupboard!!! What a little character he sounds like. It was a lovely day yesterday and it sounds like you and your DS had a great time at Southbank too (which would've tired out your DS with a bit of luck).
And what a champion your DH is as well!!! No sooner does he pull up in Perth after a mammoth road trip, then he's winging his way back to Brisvegas to be with you and your DS!!! I trust he's arrived safe and well and in one piece??
Dom: I second what Mrs P posted yesterday. Hope you're taking care of yourself and finding your way through
Kenta: Am so sorry luv Am happy to read that you've got your Plan B to go with after X-Mas and that you're still determined to fight the good fight. I think it's a good idea to give your body a decent break before going again, so enjoy the X-Mas festivities, eat, have a few drinks, laugh and forget about this IVF sh*t until after New Year Give your mind, body and spirit a break luv and take care!!!.
AFM: No sign of AF yet, but it's only the second day since I stopped the BCP. Because it's a withdrawal bleed and not a proper AF, I remember from last cycle that I didn't really get any of my usual PMS symptoms that normally precede AF's arrival. She'll turn up when she does (tomorrow would be more convenient if you're listening AF??)
My massage was divine!!! The person I saw last week wasn't available this week, so I got on the web and found some really good deals. The one I went with yesterday was offering almost 50% off their usual price for an hour long massage of your choice, so I got it dirt cheap and even better, the place was less than a 10 minute trip down the road!!!
Anyhoo, afterwards, the therapist said as I was a new client, I was entitled to a second massage at a discounted rate that worked out to be almost the same as what I paid yesterday (only $5 dearer), so I took her up on that offer too and will probably go back next week and have it done (well, that's the plan). Once AF arrives I'll be able to work it out.
OK girls, must go for now. All the best today Mrs P!!!! Will be looking out for your update. Take care and until next time................

SH*T!!!!!!Oh, no luv!!!! Am so sorry to hear about the Lone Ranger. I know you're ok with it 'cause you've got DS, but I'm guessing you must be disappointed all the same. You gave it a good shot luv and at least you can get off this IVF Train knowing you've done everything you can
Thank-you so much for your kind offer Mrs P. Unfortunately, I'm unable to get into the city today and won't be seeing WDA until Sat. If Kenta doesn't want it, I know it won't be wasted if you do end up dropping it off to WDA's rooms.
AFM: I just dropped in to see how you were going Mrs P and to update that I posted too soon this morning r.e. AF. She turned up about an hr or so after I posted, so have made an appoint to see WDA on Sat (yep, he's that busy, not that waiting an extra day to start jabbing is going to make any difference) so just wanted to let you all know.
Ok, have got to go. Mrs P I am sad and disappointed for you I'd so hoped you'd have this last shot....Bugger!!! Have a safe trip back to (is it Sydney or are you finally flying to your new home in Perth??) Either way, hope you have a smooth and safe trip back
Until next time girls..................

MrsP thank you for thinking of me when you have had such a tough day. I'm so disappointed for you. I probably can't pick it up from you as you are leaving tomorrow. I'm sure WDA will find someone they can give it to. It's such a kind gesture. Enjoy watching DS grow up now without all the up and downs that go with IVF. I just hope one day to be able to enjoy the experience of being a mother. My DH would be such a good father it's not fair all this sometimes but I believe that things in one's life happen for a reason. We dreamed of 2 children but we are now accepting we will only have one or none the way we are going.
BinB I hope AF shows for you soon.

Just quickly stopping by to let you know I got the results back from the tissue sample WDA sent away for testing after my Endometrial Scratch the other week and the CA125 BT results too.
The tissue sample came back "everything as normal" so good to have the confirmation that all's well in my oven My CA125 levels were 20.9 and anything 30.2 or less is considered within the normal ranges, so no prob's there. I also had my "official" BT to recheck my TSH levels again yesterday, so just waiting on those results. It looks like I'm all set to start jabbing tomorrow after I've seen WDA.
Ok Girls, I hope you are well and have a lovely weekend on the way. I'm sorry for not being able to do personal's atm, nevertheless, I'm thinking of you all anyhoo Take care and have a great day. It's another stinker down here and expected to get to 34 deg's today with a possible storm later on. The heat/humidity is starting already....
Until next time....................

Well, I've officially started jabbing!!! There's been a few minor changes to the protocol from here on in. WDA wants me to do 300IU of Menopur now on alternative days instead of the 150IU I wanted (and he initially agreed on, I might add!!) Anyhoo, we had a wee "Mexican Standoff" about it at my appointment earlier and his argument was that he was concerned my follicles wouldn't grow uniformly if I was doing 300IU of FSH one day and 150IU on the other. He said it was either 150IU a day or 300IU a day, and it wasn't a good idea to mix up the dosages that way, although if that's what I really wanted to do, I could, but it would be taking a risk. My argument was that I was concerned about burning my eggs out with too much LH from the Menopur etc.
If I was a woman who was a high responder and yielding plenty of eggs, then I would've been more inclined to go with my original plan, but seeing as I'm not and I don't want to risk even one precious egg, I decided to defer to WDA on this (yep, his scare tactics worked plus I was more reassured about possible "egg burnout" after he explained to me it's a lot harder to burn your eggs out than what you think and why) He's also upped my Clexane from 40mg shots to 60 mg shots and will be increasing my Prednisone from 5mg tabs to 25mg tabs after EPU He's also going to give me an Intralipid infusion after EPU as well.
We didn't get into the in's and out's of the Intralipid infusion too much this morning, will talk about that at my next appoint at the end of this week. He doesn't think I have any immune issues, but is doing the infusion and the increase in the other med's as more of a preventative measure. "Just in case" as he said
I'm also meant to drop the DHEA down to one a day until EPU, but in light of what happened with your P4 levels, Mrs P, I've just dropped the whole thing from the regime from today. I've been taking it for 7 months now, so that's well and truly long enough to reap the benefits I think
Then there was a bit of an issue getting my blood as well this morning. The poor girl had two goes (one on each arm) and couldn't find a vein (mine do tend to lay pretty deep), in the end, I told her to give me the tourniquet and I found one myself on my hand!! Was even going to draw the sample myself if I had to!! LOFL!!! Yep, it helps to be a Phlebotomist sometimes!!!
OK my lovelies, just a quick post today. Am tired and going to go have a "Nanna Nap" after lunch. I've been awake since 4am and my appoint this morning was at an ungodly hour...even for him!!!
I hope all's well with you Mrs P, Dom and Kenta and that you're having a good weekend so far. Take care girls....Until next time.......
