Default We're moving to Rockhampton in a few weeks and...

How hard is it to get into nursing at uni. What are my options as a mature aged student without finishing year 12? TIA

I am not sure about the rockhampton area as I don't live there but I would first start off by finding university's or TAFE's in the area (maybe google) and give them a call and see what you need to do (if you haven't already).

i am currently doing a preparing course at university, even see if there is anything similar you can do. I have found this course very informative, as I also didn't complete year 12 either!

    i hope this helped. Goodluck!

CQU offers a free uni preparation program called STEPs and if you pass grant direct entry to your preferred course. You can do it online or they have campuses, one in Rocky ;-) though not 100% on doing steps at a campus.
I did steps last year via distance and got into nursing this year. Highly recommend doing steps if you haven't studied for a while/ever. Their distance/online format is considered near to if not the best ;-)
