Default 2 week old just started showing signs of gas pain in tummy (i think, ftm so not sure)

My 2 week old over the past 2 days appears to be showing gas pains in his tummy. We are doing a combination of bf, ebm & formula (long story & have been doing so since birth), but at night time especially after he feeds and its time to re-settle him he sobs and appears to be in pain for maybe 5-10mins then will pass wind/poo.

I know he is very young & babies have an immature gut, but is there anything I can do to help ease his discomfort (and mine)? Is it food I'm eating? If so what should I be avoiding?

He also sounds like he is getting a cold - a rattly/chesty/wheezy cry has just started any ideas??

i'd try some infacol in his bottle when you give him the formula.. it helps bring wind up quicker.

Move his legs in a bicycle motion and bring his knees up to his chest to release wind. There's also a particular way to massage their bellies to get the gas moving. Think it was like rubbing the letter L on their tum.

Our dd is now 6 weeks and around 2 wks ago had a wheezy/horse like cry... The paed wasn't concerned said just tired. Unless she wasn't feeding, or had strider, he wasn't worried.
Also - run try in circular clockwise direction - the direction the gut
    Moves .
    Good luck

Infants friend helped my now 10weeks old when we went through this stage but the biggest relief for my bub came after a baby chiropractor session, once his spine and pelvis were aligned all his systems seemed to run a lot smoother.

Brauers Colic relief worked wonders for DD! I also use Brauers stomach calm for reflux and their teething stuff. It's all natural and you can get it at a chemist.
