    Default Anyone know what happened to www.babiesdirect.com.au????

    I cant believeit!!! I have ordered a GroBag from Babies Direct back in Jan, and they took mymoney straight away, and i still have not got the product. I am so angry, ihave been emailing and calling them the whole time, and they have given me onelame excuse after another. Today i went to call them again...i went to theirwebsite and it no longer exists! Im so annoyed with myself and i should havedone something soon, but you know how time gets away from you with a newborn...
    Anyway my question is, does anyone know what happened to them? Or do i justgive up and forfeit my money and go by one from a real store?

    I would get onto fair trading ombudsmen and see if they can help op. usually gets people moving!

    If you paid for it on your credit card, you can dispute the transaction through your bank (I'm with NAB and can just do it online through Internet banking). Not sure if its the same when they're no longer trading but its worth a try. Good luck!

    I recall someone posting a thread about it a few weeks ago. They've gone the way of Mothercare et al and are in administration or whatever the term is. The online store was still around for a while, but they deleted their Facebook and closed their stores before that. There wasn't anything posted anywhere about them no longer trading as usual.

    Horrendous customer service.

    If you paid through paypal you can lodge a dispute and get your money back, should also be the same if you paid by credit card (even if it was a debit card - a mastercard or visa debit account).

    How crappy and dishonest of them!
