I remember MIL telling me before my DD was born that I had to stock up on my favourite perfume and remember to put lots on before I held DD for the first time and every day because she will know who I am by my smell.....I think my bub much preferred my natural smell not some gross chemical smell!
Also was told when DD was 3 weeks old that the way to get her to sleep through the night was just to leave her in her cot with a bottle of juice, if she got thirsty she would find it and go back to sleep....she couldn't even find her own hand let alone a bottle of sugary juice lol.

Yesterday my dads fiancee said "she is only 7 weeks pregnant (about me) so she really isn't pregnant yet not until 12 weeks at least thats when the baby forms.... so we will wait until then to talk about it"
I stood there shaking my head.

I have a friend who sneaks off to the bathroom after s$x to punch herself in the uterus because she doesn't want to fall pregnant. She was horrified when I explained you don't actually fall pregnant the second you do the deed.
