    Default Failed ivf

Just found out our fourth ivf has ended with an ectopic and I'll lose my right tube. I'm so tired of all this, I'm only 27, they all talk as if its a sure thing because I'm young but every time something goes wrong. I feel very alone, I don't know how I'm meant to cope with this. That's all I wanted to say.

Coral5, I'm sorry for your loss and to hear you will lose your right tube But you don't need tubes for IVF to work. For some of us (sometimes regardless of age) the journey is a little more arduous. Don't lose hope, you are stronger than you know and in my experience perseverance often wins out Hope the ectopic is dealt with swiftly and your next cycle is the one!

Coral5 I'm so sorry to hear you are going through this. I had an ectopic on my 3rd cycle & it hit me really hard & I felt very alone too. Seeing the counsellor at my clinic really helped me so would recommend giving that a go if you aren't already doing so. Be kind to yourself & I really hope that things go much better for you next time.

    Hi ladies,
thanks for your comments and hugs, I really appreciated it. We were 'lucky' and the ectopic appears to be miscarrying by itself.
As for us, well, that's 4 down and I feel very strongly that this is it for us. It's too much of an emotional time to say that's it forever but I think we need a long break from all this.
Good luck to everyone, I really hope you all have babies and get to go to the 'other side' (haha)

Oh, Coral, I'm so sorry you are feeling so low.. Give your self some time, no need to make any decisions now, you have all the time in the world. Your age is a really big advantage so just take a break and relax. Do something nice with your husband and just enjoy yourself as much as you can! I am sending you positive energy and hope you feel better soon!
