I have been reading a few threads about pregnant women feeling they are being judged for one reason or another by strangers and I was wondering how others feel about pregnant women who they see smoke? Do you say anything? Those who do smoke while preg what is the worst thing someone has said to you?
Personally I don't say anything or give stares , I often get asked for a light from preg mums and being at work I can hardly say anything and I wouldn't as I don't have anything constructive to say that would help.

Do you judge pregnant women who smoke?

I think everybody judges pregnant women who smoke!! I wouldn't say anything to a random person on the street but I would offer support to people I know, info on quitting etc.

Yep! But i wouldnt say anything to them

Honestly, in my head I am judging. But I have never and would never say anything. It's not my place. I'm sure that the majority of women who smoke while pregnant know that they shouldn't and hearing it from a stranger is not going to persuade them any different or provide the motivation they need.

I don't stare or say anything (ever), but I do judge a little if I'm completely honest. But I've never been addicted to anything so I'm not coming from a position of experience or understanding. I don't get it at ALL actually.

If someone wants to smoke while pregnant that's there choice do I agree with it hell no but not my place to judge or say anything to them

Yes, the info on how damaging it is, is prominently promoted. Addiction is hard (I know, I smoked myself before falling pregnant) but it can be done.
Now having said that I don't think less of the person, I don't put them down or say anything. I do feel sorry for them and their Bubs though.

I would never say anything to anyone. And I wouldn't stare. No matter what I think, it isn't my place to say anything to someone else.

I judge, but I judge for everything. So many things people do during pregnancy makes me roll my eyes.
I wouldn't say anything and I wouldn't think you were a piece of crap or anything. I would assume you would make a poor mother on that habit alone, and I wouldn't think that just because you don't smoke you're a better mother either.

Yes. I keep it to myself but I do judge them.
