Default Whats your fave Soup Recipes?

I'll be honest that I'm crap at cooking but I've been wanting to make soup this winter. I have no idea where to start or what to try making. Inspire me with your recipes!

Miso is a regular here. So easy to make too. 1-2 heaped dessert spoons of miso paste, 1 stock cube (or equivilant), what ever veg you want ( tend to do carrot, broccoli, bok choy sh!take mushrooms and whatever else we have), protein of choice (we use Japanese style marinated tofu) and noodles. Throw everything but the noodles in a big pot and cover it with water making sure you have enough to add the noodles later. Once the veg are tender throw in the noodles and cook until they're ready.

There is also this one http://recipes.coles.com.au/recipes/...l-tomato-soup/ I add a little bit of chilli to it too.

Or there is the usual pumpkin soup.

Add the miso paste right at the end and don't let it boil. That's the proper way.
