So, I went to hospital last night as I noticed baby's movements had decreased. When I got there I had a 'blood show' and tightening contractions.
They put me on the CTG and bubs was doing great, they were also noticing my contractions/tightening. I was examined and told I am only 1cm dilated however, midwife believes early labour.
This morning I had another show this time it was brown (old blood) and continue to have tightening and mild pelvic pain.
Anyone else have similar experience? If so, how long until full labour started?

Sounds like great progress, I wish I could be more encouraging but I've been in 'early labour' for weeks now with cramping, 3cm dilated and lost plug etc.... Just doesn't seem to want to kick into active labour!! Hopefully it happens for you soon though, I think this stage can last hours days or weeks

I wish I had better news too but I have also been early labour/pre labour for a week and a half. Mild contraction, lost a fair amount of mucus, tightenings, back pain ect. Yesturday went in for monitoring and bub was fine so was sent home to wait. Hoping to get a s&s tomorrow when I see OB
I understand how frustrating it is! I really hope something kicks off you soon.

I've said from the beginning of my pregnancy that I would have bubs on Anzac Day. I hope it happens

Went to OB today and she said cervix is soft but still closed. Very disappointed. Does anyone know if this means that labour is no where near? Or can it change quickly?

Still pregnant here too ! I had my stretch and sweep today and am the same soft stretchy 1cm dilated.
With your second it can change very quickly, don't be disheartened.
I'm hoping for labour tonight or tomorrow. If not my midwife is doing another stretch and sweep on Friday.
we are both in labour soon.

Oh Blue Lips I was hoping you were in labour by now!! Thank you for your reply, I was/am feeling so disappointed I am really struggling physically and to hear that it hasn't done much was a shock I guess. I really wanted an Anzac baby! Thought maybe DTD might help?
