Becca - taking cranberry cos I had thrush last cycle (1st cycle off pill in over a decade) and cranberry can help prevent/minimise some thrush. I've read it can help sway for a girl but can dry up your EWCM so you need to keep fluids up. I'll stay on cranberry for a few months as thrush was a killer.
NewMrs - that sucks - you ok? Did they find out what was wrong on the ultrasound? Did they tell you what your B12 level was? You might get needles ( I got 3) but I'd also recommend taking the pills or a B12 spray.
Welcome ClearCrystal - I'm so sorry to hear of your loss - I hope you get the news you are looking for.
AFM - technically AF is due this Sat or Sun if I have a 28 day cycle but after 60 days last time I'm definitely not holding my breath!

I haven't been on this thread for a few weeks so thought I would give an update.
My pre-pregnancy blood test came back ok except for vitamin D deficiency (which I think is fairly common and is easily fixed with tablets twice daily).
My u/s also found a cyst so off to the specialist I went but I have now had the all clear form the specialist.
I am booked in to see the dentist this week and then we are officially TTC.
So the journey officially begins... Excited, nervous, scared, happy... I am feeling it all - as I am sure you all are too!
Ovulation is due on the weekend according to my app but I will be tracking with the Maybe Baby, CM and general pains etc. I can generally tell when I am ovulating so I am hoping the Maybe Baby will tell me the same.
Anyone else about to start BD'ing this week?

So to cut a long story short, Dh and I are currently in the process of deciding whether we should put off ttc for another 6-8 months so I can go home and get a job so we can afford a house when we move back to Aus at the end of the year. It makes sense really, but feels like we're taking a backwards step. The alternative is to have a baby asap and then try and scratch together savings from DH's salary for the next 3-5 years and hopefully have enough for a deposit. So much to think about!

Well we are now in our official TTC month!! I will still stick my head in here to follow everyone's journeys!
MrsDL I'm sure you and DH will make the best choice for your situation
Fauvette sending lots of your way!! Hope your TTC journey is short and uneventful
Azimuth, hope your cycles are shorter this time around!
to everyone else, sorry if I've forgotten anyone

I am very new to the forum - in fact tonight is the first night I have ever googled 'fertility forum'!!
I am 25 years old and got married in February to my 29 year old hubby. He is amazing and we have the most lovely life.
We aren't actively trying for a baby at this point but it is something we'd like to start thinking about soon. The issue is that I have suffered from eating disorders up until late last year and have not had my period for two years.
I consider myself almost completely recovered and have maintained a healthy weight for a few months now, but I understand this process may take a while.
I'm open and positive and really just dipping my toe into the forums to see what I can learn
Thanks for having me!
