Plenty of great things to do with kids!
    Melbourne Aquarium
    Melbourne Museum
    Botanic Gardens Children's Garden
    Free city circle tram
Birrarung Marr playground by the Yarra river

If you can get out of the city:
    Collingwood Children's Farm
    Scienceworks

That's it for now but I'll keep thinking!

    We always stay here

And it's great, and a reasonable price, free tram at the door. Might be a bit small for 2 kids though?

    Don't forget the zoo!

There is a massive games thing under the casino.
Glow in the dark putt putt is fun, someone might be able to help with where it is, same shopping centre they have the rides at.
There is a pirate ship you can go on, we didn't do this but heard it is good.
    The old gaol is awesome!

We went last July and stayed at the Travelodge in docklands, was a last minute holiday decision! It was about a 10 minute walk to the city or to a tram stop and not far from amazing shopping
