I can't praise the Ergo enough...loved it for my babes under 18mths. It can be worn on the front or back whichever is comfy for you both

I got mine off ebay and I was very happy with my purchase Here is some info I found to spot a fake HTH

So how can you spot a fake?
The four things we generally ask someone if they think that they have purchased a fake is :
1 – Does the zipper pull have the ERGObaby logo moulded into it ? (some fakes have this, some don’t)
2 – Is the warning label on the inside of the waistband and is it in 2 languages? (the fake ones are usually only in English and sometimes on the body of the carrier)
3 – Do the buckles have ‘stealth’ moulded into the plastic ? (some fakes have these, some don’t)
4 – The other question to ask is was it purchased on eBay ? (even buying ‘used’ on eBay is risky as some of the counterfeiters are selling new FAKE ERGObabys as used)
5 – There are some other minor tell tale signs that identify fakes.
The only guaranteed way to buy authentic products is to buy from an authorized dealer. Also, it is becoming more difficult to identify these products online, so please be careful/

I wouldn't buy off ebay. The likelihood of getting a fake is pretty high.

Are you on facebook? I'd join Baby Wearing Buy Sell Swap and have a look on there, there are always Ergos and won't be fake

Manducca, very similar to ergo but better.... I wear miss 22 months on the front and back, she is 12 kgs. Do you travel to the southside? There is an ABA store at Coorparoo and you can try them all out with your baby/child and see which one is most comfortable.
