So as it turns out I have Graves Disease, which caused MASSIVE hyperthyroidism in myself. I had an episode of "thyrotoxicosis" which is essentially a sudden onset of symptoms so within 3 days, my HR got to 150 *from 70-80 normally* and BP was 157/115 *normally 120-130/70-80*.
It's apparently been recommended that women don't conceive within 2 years of diagnoses/starting treatment. Otherwise removal is recommended.
Has anyone got any experience with this?
