Default Do you let your school age kids sell school raffles etc door to door?

My kids are always being sent home with raffle tickets and chocolates to sell and raise money for the school....I won't let them go door, so I end up buying them all!

Couldn't you go with them and just stand in the background? That's what I would do.

Raffle tickets I don't really bother with unless its for their schools. I bought the last lot that were sent home but there was only 5.

If a box of chocolates come home my DH takes them to work where they sell in no time.

I would not let my kids door knock. Ever.

    Nope.

I would buy a couple myself, ask the ILs and my own mother... that's about it.

I don't remember signing up saying that I was happy to volunteer my time for fundraising... so why would I feel guilty? I find people knocking on my door trying to get me to buy things completely irritating, so no way in the world would I make myself *that* person.

I would go along with them to sell the raffle tickets etc. Let them run the show but just supervise.

We don't do door knocking. We sell to family, friends, people from church, workmates etc...

I tend to stick to the neighbours I know but we have done the whole street before. I always go with DS.

No because I don't like bothering people, especially neighbours.

I just buy them myself (or completely forget!).

I would normally buy them all from DD. I would only let her go to neighbours that we know and usually visit so would let her go alone, otherwise nope.
