Our first cycle all our family knew Nd it was extremely hard when we had to tell them it didn't work!!
This time around we agreed no one is knowing until I am at least 16 weeks pregnant

My immediate family (Mum, Dad and two unmarried siblings) know and we discuss all details with them. DH's parents know about IVF but don't discuss any details. One of his cousin's asked us outright a couple of weeks ago, so we told them the truth, but at the same time said to keep it hush. Work doesn't know, as I'm pretty imaginative coming up with excuses for sick days :-)) But as time goes on, it is getting harder, that I've told two friends who I only have electronic contact with (one overseas) just to see how I'm going to eventually tell people, especially since we're using donor sperm. I think everyone I know is going to flip out about that, as it's such a taboo subject in the conservative world I live in :-(( And then when I think about donor eggs, I think they will double flip. Half the people at my work are very strong Catholics :-))

I've skimmed over the matter with my boss, because I have to travel interstate for the PGD ive told him I'm seeing a genetics specialist for testing and left it at that.

So much has happened in here since I last posted so sorry for not catching up with everyone! But its June tomorrow!
AFM we've had some amazing news our IVF talk and compulsory counselling were booked for the second week of my july cycle (so id have to wait till the aug cycle to start but we're away in Aug for holidays and DH's fifo so it would push us into Sept) as you can imagine wasnt happy! BUT I had a big complaint to the clinic and they've managed to squeeze us in to the end of June so I can start in July!!! So freaking excited!!

That's good news wishnhope! It must be difficult to try and organize everything taking a FIFO schedule into account!
Ally and Bedlover, never too sure what to say to you but already such an achievement to see you in this tread, courageous to start again. You girls rock!
Interesting to see how people share and other keep the IVF journey a secret. Since I wrote this yesterday I got asked 3 times if we have started. My whole coping process is a bit of denial and a lot of keeping myself very busy to think about something else and not too much about the treatment. So not too keen on talking about it all the time. I have told a few people that this cycle got cancelled so they stop asking even though I started jabbing this morning.
I'm on menopur 450, there is so much liquid in the syringe it looks like it is gong forever! I did the ice cube trick despite the already freezing temperature in the kitchen and did not feel it at all. I'm becoming a pro.
Have a good we everyone, is the public holiday only in WA? I'm working Saturday and Sunday, and dh is working on Monday. Great sync! Grrrrr
