My DS aged 4 came in to the room and said " for all the hard work that you do mum would you like me to give you a cuddle" such a thoughtful little soul x

20 more sleeps until we see dd1. The last time the big kids saw here was may 4th last year. So excited. We are having a family holiday while we are there. It is first big one in 10 years.

I was feeling like my best friend and I were drifting apart over the last 1-2 years but today she asked me to babysit her daughter one night soon which is huge because her or her husband have been with her every minute of her life. Feeling pretty chuffed to be the first to babysit her :-)

I woke up after 8am this morning thinking 'where are my girls' Miss 6 had told them not to wake mummy and brought them downstairs, turned the cartoons on and chopped up some fruit for their breakfast. She even changed DD4 nappy for me.. How do they just know when you need that extra sleep?

My car broke down on a busy hwy today and I had so many people stop and got out of their cars to help me. Especially since it's a hot day and I was panicking as I had DS with me. Thankyou to those unknown people. I will make sure I pay it forward.

After feeding DD at 3:30am and putting her back to bed, she started whinging & fussing but before I got up to her, DH reached out & hugged me, and said "You're doing a good job, I know it's hard."
