I feel a little sad that I can't contribute to this thread! It has not been a good day so far.
I hope to be back later with something nice to share

One of my residents from work is going to make me a blanket. So excited. Off to buy wool today to give to her tomorrow. Now to think what colours i should get as it will most likely be for DS as he will take it off me anyway.

I stayed up all night writing a report and proposed plan to present to the schools principal and DS1s teachers about how we will form together to reshape his behaviour/ control his severe outbursts. I went in there nervous and feeling inferior and deeply sad that it has gotten to this, but after presenting what his Psych has so far suggested and what I think Ds1 needs from all of us I was met with attentive listening, admiration and support from all of them and we ended up working out a plan together that we all believe is a really good start!

I went for a walk today even when the little voice inside me was coming up with every reason to just not go.

I came into the loungeroom after feeding the baby, and my 4yo had (very proudly) tidied it up for me, which is completely out of character for him.

I was validated and supported by my course coordinator through the discussion of the difficulties I've been having with my clinical educator, and and made to feel confident and capable once again. So many weeks of stress led to this point and I really hope that's over with now
