DS actually attempted some new food - first day of swapping lunch and dinner and he actually tried some pasta bake! I am not used to dealing with a fussy baby!

DS1 listened and behaved happily for 98% of his class. I only had to speak to him once. So much better than the last few weeks!

I had a patient tell me they loved the fact that I saw them (albeit they had to wait half an hour - but I gave them the option of going for a coffee across the road at the local café before retuning) but I still saw them on a Friday afternoon when I was trying to rush things through to get my kids from after school care.

The fact that they appreciated that I had made sacrifices for them sat well with both of us, and gave us both warm fuzzies.

I had a horror nights sleep. My friend text me this morning to ask if I wanted to go for a walk. We ended up going to a cafe instead for a leisurely brunch. It was wonderful. When I got home DS was in the best mood so we just played in the back yard for ages. Bliss!
