Saralou81 - Welcome, sounds like you have had a long journey, hopefully you will get your BFP soon, you deserve it. I haven't had any of those procedures you have had but hopefully it will work for you makes sense that they did everything at once while they were in there. wow 6 eggs on clomid, will they be doing scans through your next clomid cycle to make sure you don't get as many this time?

Yer they reduced the clomid to 25 from 50 (which I thought was the lowest dose anyway ) my specialist has not orderd any scans just 21 day blood tests, however me and hubby were a bit hesitant about taking it (so soon after surgery and I do not want to release 6 eggs again) but the specialist has assured me its all ok. Hubby has made a comment however that his wife has been replaced by the SHE DEVIL ! When I got told I had PCOS I though oh that's ok it can't be that hard surly to concieve !!! How wrong was I . Hoping we do all get our BFP soon

Welcome Sarahlou81. I hope this clomid cycle is the one for you!
Not sure what's up with me today. Had a scan this morning, and bloods, got one lovely follicle that's 13mm already, right on track. I expected there to be another scan and bloods on Monday before I have to do my trigger injection, but the nurse rang and said they are happy for me to just have bloods in Monday since they can pick my patterns. That should be good news, right? So I spend all this time worrying that if they don't scan, maybe the follicle will get too big/not big enough and I won't know! Why oh why do I feel the need to know every detail!! I trust my clinic! Anyway, hopefully I'll be ready to O by Wednesday next week. I wish I could be a bit more carefree. It's so stressful. The emotional stuff, physical stuff and financial stuff - gaaaa, it sux!
Vent over! Happy weekend ladies

Hi everyone! I'm a newbie here, pcos is not my friend! I'm currently at CD 46 or 47. Just wish AF would arrive already! On metformin to see if this regulates cycles. So frustrating that this has reoccurred - I thought after my first pregnancy and regular cycles that I was "cured". TTC number 2 and BAM after 7 on time cycles I miss a period and its not from being pregnant. GP confirmed PCOS is back and prescribed the metformin. I'm at my wits end with this whole thing! It's not fair sorry for the vent. A bit upset tonight.

I too was hoping to ride on the coat tails of a previous pregnancy as we've had happen in the past. Hopefully your BFP won't be too far away now. I had a four-day commiseration party last weekend - choc, wine, pizza. Back to low-gi and no sugar again now though. My skin has improved greatly over the last month (only a small break out just before AF) - don't know if it's the diet or the clomid though.

Welcome to the newbies. Hope ur ttc us short.
Well good thing I rang my doc...I needed to start provera today. She had apparently sent me instructions on when to take it...which I nevet got!! So I take it from d1 to 21 then stop and 7 days later is my scan.
But u know what? I'm pretty sure I had ovulation pain today on the left side. ..u just know it..the pain is so distinct lasted about 30 mins. Nearly felt like not taking provera but I can't the doc booked a scan and follow up appt for me to all line up. Maybe I'll find an early pregnancy in the in 6 wks...fat chance but can only hope!!

Saralou81 - It sounds like your doctor has thought your dose through carefully and will be good. Hopefully you ovulate and will catch that egg.
Violethope - Sounds like things are looking good for you hun, be positive (I know it can be hard sometimes), Follie is looking good so all is on track.
MrsKnowles - Welcome, sorry to hear cycle has decided to mess up just as you start to ttc, hopefully things will settle down for you.
Little Ted - I am with you regards going off the low gi diet, don't know what's wrong with me at the moment. I have been on the diet for 6 months straight with no problems and the last 2 weeks have been awful just can't seem to stick to it, not sure if it's being on the provera and then my af turning up or if it's me just using that as an excuse. Have to start again properly this week.
ProudMumma - Glad you sorted that out, hope all goes well.
AFM - I have completely messed up, think it may be because I have been so laid back about ttc this time and tried not to stress but I have gone and made a stupid error. I looked at my prescription from Ob and read that I had been prescribed 2.5mg of letrozole so when I had to take my first tablet yesterday I just took 1. It wasn't until I saw the box today that I had read to take two tablets so have really been prescribed 5mg. So I have now messed it all up . I took two tablets today and will do for the rest of the time but so disappointed with myself, may have messed it all up now.

Don't let there be another reason to get angry at yourself heyside! At the end of the day if a sticky one is meant to b ghee it will get through missing one tablet you havent messed anything up, especially if you've been busy creating a happy relaxed atmosphere for ur little one.
My AF arrived today. So I guess its not my month. fingers crossed for my first ivf next month!

Hi all. I've been reading along but haven't had much to contribute.
Heyside. I'd love to say the that one little tablet won't make that much difference but truth is I have no idea. I'm sure if you keep taking the two now it will make up for it. Finger crossed.
Welcome to the newbies. I hope you get your BFPs quickly.
Me - I wasn't able to make it to the doctor during the week so still haven't got those bloods ordered. Add that to the problems DH is having and the idea of TTC has been put on the back burner again. AF is just finishing so we'll see how he's going in a week or so.
Sent from my pho....oh who am I kidding. It's rarely used as a phone
