I'd see your doctor. But agree, it sounds like PUPPPS to me. And so early in your pregnancy you poor bugger!

Thanks ladies. My OB is on a plane ATM so they have suggested I go to my gp. Have an appointment in about an hour. Will keep you posted.

How do they know if you have swelling? My belly is huge for 14 weeks but my ankles and feet are normal.

The gp was pretty useless - couldn't really say if it was puppps or not. Was leaning more towards allergic reaction but I haven't eaten anything different. She gave me a script for betnovate steriod cream and suggested pinetarsol for bathing...

Have you rushed up against any tree or plants or layed on grass? I break our in a hive like itch rash when I have skin contact with plants. Be careful with that cream friend got told only to use a little and only when it gets unbareable. Sorry you didn't get any definite answers but hopefully you find something that soothes the itching

Not that I can recall. Haven't been anywhere near trees or grass.

Thanks - yeah only allowed the cream 2 times a day. I put it on straight after the doctors and I'm still itchy

If anyone is still reading this thread... I found the culprit. It's cheese! I've tested it out a few times and I break out into the painful rash when I eat cheese. So no more cheese for me for the rest of this pregnancy...
