I knew I was right. Breathing into a paper-bag is no longer recommended for hyperventilation & it can make an asthma attack worse. Given we are first-aiders & not medics we can't diagnose whether the person is having an asthma attack or hyperventilating and therefore I don't think it's good practice to give them a paper bag to breathe into. Especially when said paper-bag ends up being a thick paper envelope which the medics immediately take away on arrival. So therefore I don't appreciate being looked at like I'm incompetent when I refused to give the patient a paper bag.

At least I was right, I guess..........

I don't like having to spend all day just talking about how f!ng wonderful you are as a parent and how I'm failing for whatever reason you see fit to pick on for the day. I'm not a bad parent. I just do things differently to how you did them. I'm also not a bad person for having to rely on government payments to make ends meet. Not all of us have working teens living with us willing to pay the rent.

DH & I recently broke up for a while, then decided to try again. It's so hard when we barely see each other!

Why can't I stop my baby girl from getting wind? We both need the sleep and I can't get anything done.
