    Default Gift etiquette

    Hi ladies
Just wondering what the etiquette is on presents received before the baby is born when you don't have a baby shower. We have lots of friends overseas and have started receiving gifts now (at 34 weeks), do we open them or wait until bubs is born?
    Thanks

I am impatient, so I would open, send a thank you, then maybe send a pic of bub in the outfit/with the toy etc once they are born

I've been sent gifts from friends in other towns (so through post) and I've opened them and sent a big thank you back to them straight away. I plan on sending them photos of bubs in their gifts when she's born.

I'd open them now, send a thank you and once bub is born a follow up photo of bub with the clothes on/with the toy

ETA: If I was the person sending the gift I would assume it would be opened then, so it can be washed if clothing or put wherever if a toy or something.
