DH and I have 4 happy healthy children. We thought we were done now I'm now not so sure. Our Oldest just turned 10, youngest is 2.5 years. I fell pregnant accidently in dec and lost the bub in January. I had to have a D&C and now TTC is on my mind. Am I crazy? Am I just trying to replace the baby I lost? I'm so confused, I know I'm not done yet :-(

Sorry you lost your bub
I don't think you are just trying to replace your baby, they are irreplaceable. You say you know you're not done yet, so it may be that you really do want another!
I am reconciling with my DP after a lovely break and we have discussed a 5th.. Eventually anyway.. My baby is only 3 months old.
Good luck with whatever you choose to do!

Thank you for the reply and the kind words. I hope I'm doing the right thing, at times I feel crazy for wanting another, other times I'm so certain it's what I want.
Time will tell I guess.
Best of luck to you, and your DP and family :-)

The same sort of thing happened with us... We were happy with 4 but we accidentally fell preg and turned out to be a blighted ovum finding out at 7wks, we were devastated. After that we were sure we wanted #5 and it was all so exciting to be ttc then preg again. Our #5 is definitely a joy (and a handful and our last!) but she's our baby and she's loved by us all

We have 4 lovely kids (2 of each) and after 5 years we are considering having a vas reversal for one more! Our eldest is 12 at high school, our boys are 10 & 8 at primary school and our 'baby' is 5 starting prep next year. They all ask when can we have another baby, my hubby worries about finances. I'm just that ridiculously clucky that I don't think straight. I'm also a midwife so going to work is like a form of torture! We are 35 later this year so I want to get a wriggle on with our decision, be so much easier to just have an oopsie!
