Default How many organised activities does your 12mth old do?

As topic says, how many organised activities does your 12mth old (or close to it) do?

DD does swimming and play group but this term I'm looking at doing some of the library activities (rhyme time etc) and possibly an informal play group. All activities will be on different days.

Do you think that's too much? I am finding I'm getting bored at home and want DD to do different things.

We always read/paint/play/walk/go to the park/ etc most days as well. She has independent play also.

    What does your LO do?

My 12mo did rhyme time and playgroup. I think the sorts of things you're talking about are fine, as they aren't terribly structured, and fine for a 12 month old to attend quite a few of. It's not like you're going to baby French classes or baby violin lessons they're also not costly so if you're just not feeling it one day, you can just skip them.
Just on the baby rhyme thing, if your library does a toddler time it may be better to do that instead. Most rhyme times are babes on laps, and by 1 most want to get down and explore, a toddler time is generally a lot more active. So maybe check with the library what they have and what would suit (lots incorporate both and do a 0-18 months session)

    Cool, thanks.

Yes the library does rhyme time 0-12 mths and 12-24mths. So I'll have a look at both and check out the other kids that are there and how she 'fits' with them.

We do swimming and gymbakids, on the odd occasion we get to the library for rhyme time (if I remember which week it is on)
