My breastfeeding journey with my DS is very sadly coming to an end
He actually stopped breastfeeding two months ago at 4 months due to various issues and despite my best efforts I never got him back to the breast. However I've been expressing for the last 2 months (4-6 times a day) so I could still feed him breastmilk.
Unfortunately my supply has now dropped to less than 200ml a day so I've decided today is the last time I'll pump. My goal was to make it to 6 months, and DS turns 6 months in another 10 days. So I'm happy I met my goal, but still really sad it's ending!
For those who have finished breastfeeding, how did you mark the occasion? Was it sad or a relief??
