We fortunately had the funds in savings for our cycles but I know lots of people that have used credit card for their cycles. Even having to use credit card bear in mind you get a big chunk back from Medicare so you would pay that back straight to your credit card. I was speaking to a friend the other day who said her friends clinic have a payment plan and thats how her friend has been paying for her cycle, I haven't heard of clinics offering that but great if they do.

To fund ours DP and I are either going to pull out a term deposit or sell shares.
We're lucky that those two options are available to us. We don't really believe in having debt so neither of us have a credit card. The thought of putting a "baby" on a credit card makes me giggle a little though.

If we didn't have the term deposit or shares then it would be more difficult. It's so hard to fathom that you need to save $8-$9k then a week later Medicare hands you back half of it!!! Some silly bureaucrat needs to figure that sh!t out and make it more affordable for people!
