2012 was a big year for me. I was 32.
- My dad passed away after fighting cancer for around 18 months
- My mum was diagnosed with cancer around the same time and fought it with chemo
- I gave birth to my 2nd son 3 weeks before my dad passed away

2006. I was 21
I had just finished uni
Spent a month in Italy alone
Got my first 'real' job (that's how I saw it at the time)
My gran was very sick and eventually died
My extended family fell apart and is still estranged (probably for the best)
My best friend's parents were in a horrific car accident and spent months in recovery
Another friend became paraplegic in a car accident
Dad lost his job
My great grandma died. I still feel guilty that I didn't really care, as I was still mourning the loss of my incredible gran
DH and I moved in together
Was the worst year of my life, but one of the best too

I can't think of a year that didn't change my life tbh!
This is one year - 2013 - that I don't want anything (significant) to change! Does that count?

1996- my day passed away on my 11th birthday, birthdays now suck especially when family forget.
2009- 23 worst year to date. Had a mental breakdown, daughter was bit by a red belly black snake, a week later she split her head open, week later I was fired as I took to much time off to look after her, I lost my house and was homeless for 6 months, lost my license and my partner and I started fighting, he cheated just after I fell pregnant with our son.
