My kids prefer me by far, especially my youngest. He has never liked his dad.

DS1 always says he loves both but he usually prefers me. I think kids really can sense who love them more. DH does love him definitely but it's very different - he provides, he cuddles etc but mummy is the one who really sacrifices eg time, effort...so he knows it somehow.

Depends on for what. DS prefers DP for the things that DP usually does for him, like taking him to child care and getting up to him in the night (heh heh, score!) But only wants me in the mornings because I usually get up before DP (not such a score). DD couldn't care less about either of us, she only has eyes for her brother.

Mathermy yes that is a huge comfort. I worry a lot how the kids would cope without me.. I do 90% of everything for them and the ones that clearly favour me lose their shiz when left with dh.

My two prefer me if I've spent the majority of the day with them. But if the daddy daycare day then Dh wins.
But if either grandmother is around then dd1 couldnt care if we were alive or not.

Sometimes I think they prefer DH more, he has more quality time with the kids than me ATM.
I'm still #1 if they are sick, I'm the one that always gets vomited on, once they feel better they have cuddles with DH and I clean up the mess!

Dd1 is a mummas girl
Dd2 is a daddys girl
Dd3 is a mummas girl
But same as previous poster is either nanny is around well then we miss out (with the exception of dd3 she always always prefers me)
