    Default Babbling

Hi all just wondering what constitutes as babbling etc as I'm confused as where my dd should be at. She is 6.5 months old and sounds like she says a lot of different syllabells and is 'talking' but doesn't do the whole ba ba ba da da da thing? What should she be doing? Tia

Yes she is babbling, every 5 to 7 months child try to experiment with different sounds but are not able to produce recognizable words. This is what we called babbling. Usually a child start speaking after 12 months.
