At random times through the week I say ' see if I had a thermomix I could do ......' Or 'this would be much faster/easier/more nutritious if we had a thermomix' But it hasn't worked so far!

I think we need a support thread for ladies whose husbands won't let them buy one!!

My DP was adament that we didn't need one, and that they're too expensive (which I agree). I gave it until tax time and just said "I'm buying one". He didn't object at all and now he uses it all the time.

    Get him to read this:

I use it multiple times a day
    Our whole family is healthier
dinner is made in a flash
    we save money
    we feel fitter
    less washing up
    endless healthy recipes online
    its fab fab fab!
there is a payment plan if needed

    such an amazing machine .

    Honestly my best purchase ever!

Example: pizza takes 1 minute to make dough . 30 minutes dough to rise. Put on topping . Cook 20 mins.... Fresh , healthy and better than any pizza shop. Soup in 10 mins start to Finnish , you just get machine to chop veg, set timer and walk away, whilst it cooks, come back and chop for 30 seconds add herbs and serve....

Thermomix owners - can you please share with us the things you can make now from scratch, so reducing the amount of food additives. Eg milk (from almonds, rice etc), sauces, spice mixes etc etc.

I was thinking a list like this might be helpful in my 'discussions' with DH

Bread rolls, pizza rolls, focaccia, ice cream, berry coulis, gravy, tomato sauce, stock cubes...

The list is endless really, if I want to make something I just google it with the word "Thermomix" and 99 times out of 100 a recipe pops up!
