    DD2 is having her birthday at kindy this year. I'm taking the morning off work and staying as parent helper. She's taking frog in the ponds as I find most kids just eat the icing and chuck the cake and as I am working the day before her birthday I'm not staying up late making 25 cupcakes that will mostly get binned.

    She's an early riser so will get presents in the morning and then we'll have a family dinner that night.

    Also check ur kindys food policy at ours ur not allowed to bring anything for birthdays they have a fake cupcake for the bday child to hold while they sing happy bday i would also let her open presents on the morning even if it means she is late

    Yep I find these a great hit at birthday parties. You can also do them with snakes in the jelly.
