    Hi, everyone!
We can`t have children naturally in our family due to my week reproductive health. I had 4 IVF rounds which led us to nothing.
Currently, our fertility specialist recommended making thoughts about surrogacy somewhere it is legal. I have read a number of articles about this process in Ukraine thus this country have quite an affordable price for this treatment. I have noticed that there are many positive comments about the Biotexcom centre. Maybe someone dealt with the surrogacy there. I would be appreciated any information regarding this process there.

Georgia is quite popular with surrogacy, personally I’d tread very cautiously with biotech and maybe look for other clinics if you want to go to the Ukraine.

Hi. Unfortunately, they won't be able to help single people in Ukraine. Under Ukrainian law only married heterosexual couples can opt for surrogacy. The thing which is of a huge relief though is that the surrogate has no right to keep the baby after delivery. IP are considred the only legal parents of the baby. The birth certificate is issued with their names (the name of the surrogate is never mentioned). The reputable clinics will always guide you through all the treatment stages. They'll offer all legal support. Besides Ukraine is where you could look for all inclusive ''guaranteed'' plans (meaning money refund if no luck). We've been ourselves through egg donation with the repro center, Kiev.
    All the very best.

I've just shared this on another thread. Will paste here. I'd definitely recommend looking onto https://oursurrogacyblog.wordpress.com/. There's LOADS of information on surrogacy in Ukraine. Here are the treatment steps guideline~
Theinitial consultation is to be scheduled at least 1 week ahead andcontains the following activities:
Aset of tests depending on the program (fasting ismandatory).
Consultationwith a fertility specialist who will be in charge of your program (incase of stimulation you will need to have the transvaginal ultrasoundcheck done).
Consultationwith a manager who will guide you through the program step bystep.
    Signingof contracts.
Firstpayment (if you are taking medications for stimulation from theclinic, the medications are to be paid in cash on the day ofconsultation).
Beforeany initial consultation you will receive the Guidelines for theInitial Consultation – failure to follow these recommendations mayaffect the initial consultation in a negative way.
Afteryou sign contracts and make the first payment, the medical teamstarts the selection process that includes:
    Initialpre-selection by the local coordinator.
Consultationof the fertility specialist in Bio texcom in Kiev.
    Consultationof a psychologist.
    Legalconsultation and verification of documents.
screeningfor possible addictions (urine and blood tests).
Thischeck-up process, including all necessary tests and exams, takesabout 1 month.
Thecycle of egg donor or the biological mother is synchronised with thecycle of a surrogate mother. According to your contract you have tofollow all doctors instruction. In case of self-treatment orviolation of the treatment protocol, the clinic may cancel the cycleand terminate the contract.
Thedate of the pick up is scheduled by the doctor in charge of theprogram.
TheIntended Parents are informed about it beforehand (at least 5 daysbefore).
Ifthe Intended Parents wish to use previously frozen sperm sample forfertilisation they shall notify the program coordinator about that byemail no later than 24 hours before the procedure
Ifit is the second/further attempt and more than 2.5 months has passedsince your last blood test in the clinic, please be ready to haveyour blood test repeated, and that means fasting in the morning
Incase the biological mother undergoes hormonal stimulation and isbeing prepared for egg retrieval, the second visit may take up to 10days.
Ifwe are talking about surrogacy using own eggs it is not recommendedto leave the same day. Flying the following day is fine.
Therules for sperm donation are similar as for the initial consultation– a man needs to abstain from ejaculation from 3 to 5 daysbefore.
Thesecond payment (according to your contract) is to be made on this dayif in cash, prior to this day if by the bank transfer.
Afterfertilisation the embryo development is monitored by our embryologyunit.
Theembryo transfer takes place on the 5th day as we are transferring theblastocysts.
Youwill receive the protocol of embryo cultivation and transfer within 3working days after the embryo transfer. The HCG test takes place 2weeks after the embryo transfer. The surrogate mother has her test inBio texcom. The results of the test are known the day after the test.
Thefirst ultrasound scan is carried out in 2 weeks after the positiveHCG test by the doctor in charge of the program. The report will besend the same or the next day after the check.
Whatyou can expect during pregnancy monitorying:
Monthlyultrasound checks from the 12th week of pregnancy. Reports along withvideo and/or pictures will be send the same or the next day. Fortrisomy screenings, results will be send within 5 workingdays.
    Trisomy13, 18, 21 – on the 12th week of pregnancy
    Trisomy18, 21 – on the 16th week of pregnancy
Ifyou will be present during the delivery (only available in the VIPSurrogacy package) you need to come prior to delivery to undergo themedical tests. You will be informed about right time to come by yourprogram coordinator.
Whenyour surrogate mother is going for planned hospitalisation yourprogram coordinator will let you know. This may give you the idea ofwhat is the best time to come.
Asa rule if the delivery is in a natural way the baby will bedischarged in 3-4 days from the maternity house. In case of twins orc-section it might take up to 7 days for the babies to stay in thematernity house. In case of premature birth or any complications, thebaby(s) obviously stay in the hospital for a longer period.
Ifyour contract is Standard – you will be visiting the baby duringthe daytime. If your contract is VIP Surrogacy – you will bestaying in the hospital with a baby in a separate room.
Inorder to obtain the birth certificate you will need to have yourmarriage certificate apostilled in the country that issued thatmarriage certificate. For countries that are not participants of theHague Convention, abolishing the Requirement of Legalisation forForeign Public Documents (Apostille convention) – the marriagecertificate should be legalised. Apostille is not the same aslegalisation. You may click the following link in order to check ifyour country is the participant of the HagueConvention
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apostille_Convention
Ifthe name on your marriage certificate differs in any way from thename on your passport (e.g. there is a middle name on one or not theother, or surnames differ) – you need to obtain an officialintermediate document confirming your identity. Failure to providesuch document may cause your process delay. Your program coordinatorwill advise you with all such issues.
Inorder to obtain the birth certificate both intended parents need tobe present in the country
Thebirth certificate will be submitted for apostillation, translationand notarisation.
Afterthe birth certificate is obtained the embassy process starts
Theclinic provides you full documentary support of the exit process
Theembassy process differs for every country, so the waiting time isdifferent for every particular case
Someof the Embassies will require additional DNA test performed on theirpremises – this additional DNA test is not covered by the clinic
Itis recommend that you agree all of your actions associated with theexit process with your program coordinator.
You can also contact the author for more detailed information. (At least it's what it's said there). Hope this helps you to get more insight.
Wishing you the best of luck and support on the way.
